Exporting your data, or deleting your account
How to download a copy of your data — and what happens when you delete your account.
Both options live at Settings → Account on the hub.
Exporting your data
Click Download my data (JSON). We package up your account record, advisor profile (including jurisdictions, companies, subscriptions, credentials), client profile relations, and any signature records you signed personally. The file downloads in your browser — we don’t email it.
Counts only are included for high-cardinality collections (clients, contact inquiries) — full lists live in the in-app pages.
Deleting your account
Type DELETE in the confirmation field, then click. We pick one of two paths automatically:
Hard delete
If your account has no client relationships, no marketplace inquiries, no active product subscriptions, and zero signed documents on file, the row is removed entirely. There is no undo.
Soft delete with PII scrub
If you have any of the above (which you almost certainly do once you start working with clients), we scrub your name, email, phone, and password. The compliance-relevant records (signed PDFs, audit logs, contact inquiries) stay intact, with a “Deleted user” placeholder where your name used to appear. You won’t be able to sign back in either way.
If you change your mind
Hard deletes can’t be reversed. Soft deletes also can’t be reversed by you — but if it’s a recent mistake, contact support fast and we can usually restore the row before any audit log relies on the placeholder name.
